Recently, the inspiration for my painting has been mainly drawn from travels to new exciting destinations, I love colour and strong contrasts of sunlight and shade, together with interesting architectural shapes and silhouetted figures. I also have an endless fascination for familiar local riverside views and my own garden, seen from different angles and in changing moods of the seasons.

I enjoy experimenting with the fluid movement of watercolour contrasting with the rough textural marks of pastels. I hope my paintings here reflect my love of the warmth of Province, he heat and history of the Nile and the bustle of Las Ramblas, Barcelona.
